Our Purpose
This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to benefit Crowley ISD. To this end, the corporation shall at all times be operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as
now enacted or hereafter amended, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended. All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.

Little Learners Literacy Launch

Supporting future Eagles before they even enter the classroom! During Pre-K and Kindergarten registration events, families receive literacy resources, take-home books, and tools to help young learners build confidence early.

Community Book Giveaways
Throughout the year, our foundation attends district-wide events, school celebrations, and family engagement nights to distribute free books to students and families. These giveaways help make reading accessible, exciting, and community-centered.
Signature Literacy Initiatives: Book Vending
Machine Program
Help us spark excitement for reading by placing book vending machines in every elementary school across Crowley ISD. Students earn books as rewards and get to build personal libraries of their own.
Our Goal:

Provide a book vending machine to each elementary campus

Stock machines with engaging books for at least one full academic year

Encourage positive reading habits through fun incentives
Sponsor Opportunity:
Become a campus literacy sponsor and help keep books flowing into students’ hands all year long.
Learn to Love to Read: Literacy is the Key to Success
Our Learn to Love to Read initiative is focused on placing books directly into the hands of students across Crowley ISD so they can build strong literacy skills both inside and outside the classroom.

By creating meaningful reading experiences and increasing access to books, we are helping students grow into lifelong learners — one story at a time.
Battle of the Books
The foundation was key in bringing the district wide battle of the books program to Crowley ISD and remains a primary donor and supporter of this program which encourages students at grade levels 3-8 to read books and compete with others on their grade level as to their knowledge about the books.
Author Visits
Students gain inspiration and real-world connections through interactive visits with authors, storytellers, and literacy advocates who encourage creativity, imagination and a love for reading.
STEM & Literacy Partnerships
We partner with campuses to incorporate literacy into STEM-centered learning experiences and family engagement nights.
